HEADSETS
TERMS OF SERVICElast updated: Sep 23, 2026

The short version: be cool, own your stuff, and if we're wrong about anything, write to us.

What this is

Headsets is a small archive for cassette-era gear, mixtapes, and the stories around them. You upload. People listen. Nothing is sold here.

What you can upload

Own your stuff. Specifically:

  • Recordings you made yourself — mixes, rehearsals, live captures. This is what the shelf is for.
  • Radio rips, record-and-replay art, or your DJ set recordings — fine, label them honestly.
  • Commercially released music (albums, label releases, streaming exclusives): don't upload it. Link it instead. If it lands here anyway, we'll remove it — no drama, just a form.
  • DMCA notices go to abuse@headsets.fun. We respond within two working days.

Conduct

No harassment, no doxxing, no impersonation of real people or labels. Archive the music, not the person. Accounts that break this get removed, no warning, no appeal — same as a librarian pulling a defaced book.

Your account, your data

You can delete your account and all your uploads any time via the Control Deck, or by emailing abuse@headsets.fun. We'll wipe it, we don't keep ghosts. Details in Privacy.

No warranty, no liability

The archive runs on a Raspberry Pi and a modest server. It's usually up. When it's not, it's not your fault and we're usually fixing it. Use is at your own risk; nothing here comes with a warranty, express or implied. We'll never owe you more than the price of lunch.

Changes

These terms may change as the archive grows. If something major changes, we'll update the date above — that's the notification. By using Headsets you agree to this and to Privacy.
